Tom Worsfold
Nutrition Coach

As an evidence based coach, it is Tom’s role in the team to lead and educate them and the clients on the most up to date science in the world of health, exercise and nutrition. 

Applying his degree in sports and exercise science, Tom interprets the scientific studies and pairs it with his vast experience to deliver a substantial programme to Fit4life clients.

Tom has over 12 years experience coaching in a gym environment, and has delivered 10,000 hours of 121 coaching. Whilst also working with Team GB and numerous sports teams.

Ben Sampayo
Transformation Coach

Coming from a sports background mainly in football, a debilitating knee injury while playing full time in Scotland led Ben to pass the PT qualifications.

This was over 4 years ago now and he still does it for the same reason, “to see that smile on people’s faces as they see progress on the scales and talk about their progress towards achieving their goals.”

Education is now his main focus with clients, as he explains the importance of what they do in the gym and the impact of choices they make away from the gym and there effects. This also covers coaching on technique with exercises all the way through to what they are putting in their bodies.

Bobby Sears
Strength and Conditioning Coach

Bobby has developed a real interest in the importance of living and maintaining a healthy active lifestyle. Having had a strong background in football, he reached Professional Level. Fast forward to now and Bobby has experienced 3 years as a personal trainer helping people from all different ages and backgrounds to achieve their health and wellness goals. His main focus is to motivate and push clients to improve them both mentally and physically but most importantly having fun.
Bobby is a Specialist in increasing Strength, Conditioning and Cardiovascular endurance to help with Performance based goals. He works a combination of the 3 efficiently to make you the fittest and strongest you’ve ever been.

Sophie Hurley
Female Transformation Coach

Coming from a dance and musical theatre background, Sophie has learnt so much about why people succeed at getting and staying fit, healthy, and happy.
She found her real passion for fitness when she finished her degree and then decided to complete her personal training qualification. 

Sophie’s focus is to help people reach their goals and to make them feel good about themselves whilst having fun doing it.  She loves to motivate people and make a difference to their mindset.
Sophie specialises in helping women of all ages to achieve their dreams.  She wants to support her clients in not just looking great but feeling physically and mentally strong.
Her vision is to help people, no matter how fit they are, to smash their goals and feel amazing.

Akelah
Antenatal & Postnatal Coach

As a Registered Midwife for 7 years, Akelah has extensive experience in women’s health and wellbeing. Working within the NHS, she has a great understanding of some of the barriers to exercise and complications that can arise from limited physical activity. Using this knowledge paired with her Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, Akelah has the tools and skills to assist clients reach attainable fitness goals.

Strength training is something Akelah has been familiar with for over 12 years, utilising research and training programs to maximise results. Becoming a mum 10 years ago, taught Akelah how workouts needs to be adjusted dependent on physical and lifestyle changes. This is one of the reasons why she went on to acquire a qualification specialising in ‘Health and Wellbeing through Exercise for Antenatal and Postnatal clients’. The transition to parenthood and the changes that occur for the mind and body can be very challenging, and quite scary. Akelah’s experience and passion aims to emphasise how important physical activity is to positively aid these changes and create a better birth and recovery experience.

However, Akelah welcomes clients from all ages, genders and backgrounds. Being physically active is important in all stages of life and she is able to cultivate individualised fitness plans to support you wherever you are on your fitness journey.

Lauren Merritt
Female Transformation Coach
Lauren has a sporting background and a degree in Sports Management. It was after having her two children and seeing the effects of the pandemic that Lauren decided to qualify as a Personal Trainer. Lauren also works part time at Queens Hospital and sees on a daily basis the effects of sedentary office jobs and shift work on peoples physical and mental health. As a mother of two she understands the difficulties of working, juggling kids and then looking after your own health and fitness. Lauren helps to train mums and ladies to transform their body shape and condition to achieve their personal goal whilst making it sustainable.
